Getting Purpose, Inc. is a non-profit organization that helps individuals and organizations reconnect to their purpose, reclaim their power, and ignite their passion.
We are most powerful when we are on the path to recognizing the unique gift we have to share with the world. As empowered, purposeful individuals who lead with our gifts we are able to see how we can contribute to the success of our communities, making us more aware of our place in society and enhancing our daily journey. But many young kids don't get the tools necessary to help them get off to a good start in life. Consequently it makes it tough for them to live out their passion and purpose in life.
We believe the world will be a much kinder gentler place when we are all living out our dreams and purpose. This does not mean that we are meant to be a Fireman or a Surgeon, paradoxically it matters much less what we do than how we do it- how we bring ourselves fully into our work in everything we do...our essence, our purpose.
It is said IF YOU WANT TO CHANGE THE WORLD TEACH A CHILD. That is why we have dedicated our work to help families and children ages 3 to 6, with a special emphasis on those in lower socioeconomic brackets, become empowered at an early age through the process of learning how to read.
